Refund Policy

Overview

This policy covers refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling for verification appointments booked with Portal Cedar Hub.

Deposit and Payment

A 30% deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The remaining balance is due at the start of your session. We accept bank transfer and cash payment at our Daegu office.

Cancellation by Client

More than 72 hours before the appointment: Full deposit refund within five business days.

Within 72 hours of the appointment: Deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to fill the slot with another client. If the slot is filled, a full deposit refund is issued.

No-show: If you do not arrive and do not contact us, the deposit is forfeited and no refund is issued.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule your appointment once without penalty if you notify us at least 72 hours in advance. The deposit transfers to the new date. Additional rescheduling requests within the same booking may incur a ₩30,000 administrative fee.

Cancellation by Portal Cedar Hub

If we must cancel your appointment due to staff illness, office closure, or other circumstances on our side, you receive a full refund of any payments made, or the option to reschedule at your convenience.

Refund After Session Completion

Verification session fees are non-refundable once the session has been conducted and the verification report has been provided. If you believe the session did not cover the agreed scope, contact us within seven days with specific details. We will review your concern and may offer a partial follow-up session at no charge.

Non-Refundable Items

• Deposits forfeited due to late cancellation or no-show
• Administrative fees for repeated rescheduling
• Any third-party costs you incur (travel, safe deposit box retrieval, etc.)

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

• Session ended early due to circumstances on our side (proportional refund)
• Agreed scope was not delivered (determined after review)
• Multi-sig session where one signer fails to attend and the remaining session is shortened by mutual agreement

Refund Method

Refunds are issued via the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds are processed within five business days of approval. Cash payments made at the office are refunded by bank transfer.

Work Already Started

If you cancel after the session has begun but before completion, no refund is issued. The verifier will provide whatever portion of the report can be completed based on the work done.

Materials Purchased on Your Behalf

We do not purchase materials on behalf of clients. If this changes in the future, any pre-purchased materials are non-refundable once ordered.
